Evidence Based Impacts

Proving What Works, Backed by Real Results

At Streets of Growth, every step we take is grounded in research, data and lived experience. Our evidence-based approach ensures that the work we do isn’t just meaningful, it’s measurable. From reducing youth violence and re-engaging young people in education and enterprise, to supporting long-term change in families and communities, our interventions are designed for real-world impact. This page highlights the outcomes, insights, and long-term results that drive our mission forward.

Turning Evaluation into Actionable Change

Evidence based evaluation is at the heart of everything we do. We are relentless in continually evaluating how we measure our pioneering work to ensure β€˜undeniable’ outcomes, outputs and impacts. It is also one of our biggest challenges. Why? Due to the fact we are not only measuring a young person’s growth in terms of their education and career, but we also measure our targeted interventions that support young people to address problematic behaviours and realities in neighbourhoods outside of organisational settings and timeframes.

For example – When working with harder to re-engage young adults who are negatively street involved or distrusting of institutions and professionals, it can often take 3-6 months to initiate a β€˜relationship for change’ and overcome their initial distrust and resistance.

In our last 3-year Impact Report our Targeted Intervention programme had achieved less than 8% reoffending rate out of 159 high risk young people.

In partnership with Tower Hamlets Homes and Safer Neighbourhood Police Teams it was proven that we had achieved a 45% reduction in anti-social behaviour (ASB) in one key borough ward crime hotspot.
