Roberta Crawford’s Journey from Inner-City Struggles to National Recognition

At just 17, Roberta Crawford from East London has turned her life around and is now making a profound impact on her community. Growing up in an area plagued by social challenges, Bobbie faced cycles of violence and exploitation that many young people experience. Determined to break free, she joined Streets of Growth and became a leading voice in the Young Influencers project. Her dedication to helping other vulnerable youths has earned her the prestigious BCyA Medal of Honour, highlighting her incredible journey from adversity to a beacon of hope for thousands.​
